The Sunshine Coast Arts Council is celebrating their 50th year in operation; we’re even older than the BC Arts Council! We have been celebrating this achievement throughout the year with a number of events. Here are some of the things we’ve been up to as well as some events still to come.

Tea For More Than Two

2016 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Sunshine Coast Arts Council! In celebration of this event the Arts Council is hosting a celebratory tea for the dedicated volunteers who have worked as gallery attendants over the years. The event occurs from 3-5pm, Sunday May 29th, 2016 at the Sunshine Coast Arts Center. Along with home-made goodies the volunteers will be treated to music by Anna Lumiere and memories compiled by gallery attendant co-ordinator, Sheila Page.
