Kaye and Roberta Miller, aka Miller Woodturning and Treenware, are participants at Hackett Park and for the past 15 years, remain a part of the Sunshine Coast crafts scene. Before that, we were active in the Vancouver crafts milieu, selling for many years at the Granville Island public market, and members of the Circle Craft Cooperative since 1977.

All of our work is made by the two of us exclusively, in our own little workshop in Roberts Creek, using local woods, tropical exotics, and some manufactured woods, such as Dymondwood™, Parallam™, and Timberstrand™. In our work, we emphasize form and finish. Every piece we make is thought-about, planned, designed, shaped (whether by lathe or other means), and then carefully sanded and finished by hand. We aim for as close to perfect execution as possible; otherwise, the piece goes onto our table as a “slightly imperfect.”
