The Sunshine Coast Arts Council invites applications for the following two positions:

Archival and Administrative Assistant

The Archival and Administrative assistant will organize and archive SCAC historical documents under the direction of the Art’s Council Administrator.

Social Media and Administrative Assistant

The Social Media and Administrative assistant will gather and prepare promotional information on SCAC activities and events for dissemination through social media and liaise with our web designer to create updates for our website.

In addition, the successful applicants of both positions will perform administrative duties including:

• working as a gallery attendant
• helping to hang exhibits
• assisting with the Children’s Summer Art Workshop
• assisting with the organization of the Hackett Park Arts & Crafts Fair.

Both positions are under the guidance of and report directly to the Arts Council’s Administrator.
Candidates must be post-secondary students between the ages of 18 and 30, who will be returning to full-time studies in the fall.

Start Date: Monday, May 28th, 2018
Employment: 14 weeks; 35hr/week; 5-day work week; $14/hour
