I was wandering an island beach off the coast of Chile early one morning at low tide. In the distance I saw what could have been a sculpture. As I got closer it changed from a dark silhouette into a brightly colored fishing boat lying on her side. As a sculptor, I was intrigued and to this day I continue to be fascinated by all sea going vessels that present themselves. Over the years this documentation has included a mix of marine craft from sea kayaks right on up to tankers, and even a house designed and built in the shape of a boat.
