Melodie Casella is a member of the Sechelt First Nation and her partner who is also her husband, Martin, have formed a catering company which has an infusion of Coast Salish cuisine which has been melded together with Martin’s South American roots.
Their catering company “CasPier Catering” has been a thriving and successful business which offers catering for small events of 15 guests up to a total of 300 guests. In the development of the business they had the opportunity to cater an event for the Olympics, and have also catered several events for the Sechelt Nation as well as some private functions.
The success of the business has landed them a spot in the Sunshine Coast Life Fall 2009 Food Section and 2017 as well. Their touch of First Nation salmon dishes brought about this great exposure! The motto of their catering company is “Where We Cater To Your Needs” and in all efforts they will do their best in seeing to the success of any event that you have planned, whether it be a buffet or plated dinner, or even a bagged lunch for something on the go!
