Keith Lehman and Carole Henshall have been running the Poplar Studio together since 2000. They live in East Vancouver and work at their studio on Granville Island. They make functional yet fanciful pottery wares in mid-range porcelaneous stoneware, glazed and decorated with studio-made glazes and decals, and either electric or gas fired. They strive to produce unique, high quality work that is ergonomic as well as visually engaging. They hope that their wares communicate to others the joy and humour inherent in their making process.
