What is surprising about Daniel Justice is not only that he has written so much over the last 13 years, but that what he has written is so varied, from his recent and important academic study, Why Indigenous Literature Matters, to a trilogy of fantasy novels, The Way of the Thorn and Thunder, to a book on badgers and another to come in the near future on racoons. Daniel is Professor of First Nations and Indigenous Studies and English at UBC. He is also a self-described “Dungeons and Dragons geek.” This promises to be a fascinating evening reading by this versatile author.
