Elaine & Mike of Creek Clayworks sell their work year round directly from their Studio located at 1738 Lockyer Rd. in Roberts Creek. Extensive travels in Asia and Europe have been major influences in their work. Elaine throws and alters her work while Mike is known for his slab ware dishes, platters and vases. They are fully committed to making pots that are entirely functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.
The body of work Elaine has created over the years encompasses the complete range of ware used in the preparation, serving and consumption of food and drink. The intention is to create pottery that is used and enjoyed on an everyday basis.
The glazes they use result in contemporary colours of blues, greens, earth tones, blacks, rust and reds. The glazes are dishwasher safe, contain no lead and can be used in the oven. Gift Certificates and Bridal Registries are available. Custom dinnerware sets are a specialty at Creek Clayworks.
