I am a practicing professional artist of 45 years. Though self-taught, my education has varied with architecture, painting, and graphic arts.

Painting for me is a form of adventure and the theme of my art generally works with positive/negative space, nature, movement, and the abstract qualities found therein.
In the last couple of years, “In the Garden series” has been an exploration of acrylic paint skins and recycled from my paint palette to produce garden fields and arrangements.
I have just retired from my seasonal profession as a landscape garden designer/developer.

Gardening has been synonymous with my painting, both expressing a love of colour, texture, movement and the seasons.

I am also a photographer for fun and use my photos for cards and graphics.
