Almost all of our fabrics today are woven and yet most of us remain unaware of the magic of weaving. These pieces demonstrate and bring out that magic through the exaggeration of colour and texture. Words do not come easily to me. I find in my fibre endeavours I can express something in myself that is beyond words. I know that I am compelled to use my hands: draw, weave, spin, garden – create something. I call it “play” and I am always experimenting.
