I was born in Italy and after immigrating with my parents to Canada in 1960, I lived north of 55 in Thompson Manitoba for 38 years. I have been an artist for most of my life and I am self-taught and have experimented with many different media, mostly in the fibre fields and pottery. At this time I am producing one-of-a-kind sculpted art dolls, dressed in a variety of period clothing. With an interest in recycling, a variety of items I use in making art dolls are recycled items that would otherwise be discarded but are given a second life adorning the dolls.
