Mixers and Elixirs is a local Vancouver company that launched in 2015 and produces small batch, fruit based Shrubs using rescued fruit whenever possible.
Shrubs are also knows as drinking vinegars, which are fruit based concentrates that were a byproduct when fruit was shipped with vinegar to preserve it, prior to the days of refrigeration.
Mixers and Elixirs has modernized the traditional Shrub by using locally grown fruits that are categorized as ‘second grade’, organic apple cider vinegar and pure cane sugar. The result is a refreshing blend of sweet and tart, a delicious thirst quencher.
