Sunshine Coast Silk Studios primarily dyes on silk, but sometimes wool and cotton as well. They incorporate many unique techniques, and can use brushes to paint the dye by hand, or fauna and it’s natural dyes to create images, or shibori, a type of tying or folding to create a texture of patterns. They create hangings, kimonos, scarves and other garments that are all washable and colourfast. Sunshine Coast Silk Studios is in it’s 23rd year of business.
