Local musician, community organizer and past Arts Council President Steve Wright returns to the Arts Centre by offering musical engagement in the afternoons in the music studio!
The Sound studio has transformed the music studio and brought many young musicians through the doors learning everything from drums to guitar to turntables and learning to make electronic music with iPads.
The Sound is a unique music program where kids learn to be musicians through learning a variety of instruments, and then apply those skills in real world events such as local concerts, recording and workshops. Many of Steve’s clients have been coming to him for many years, and this in-demand program has a growing waiting list for kids 8 years old and up. It’s been a great fit at the Arts Centre and is an exciting time!
