At Apple Island Naturals, we believe that everyone deserves to enjoy the beauty of nature, and are committed to creating special products for you using natural ingredients. All are handcrafted and never involve animal testing or synthetic ingredients. We are constantly searching for new ways to “go green” and reduce our environmental impact. We use only ethical Canadian suppliers for our ingredients, supplies, and equipment, because we believe in employing Canadians. We support local businesses as often as possible.
What started as a small-batch soap-making hobby in 2008 has grown to include face care, beauty enhancement, perfumes, massage products, and an aromatherapy department headed by our on-site, registered aromatherapist. We are a proud member of the British Columbia Association of Practicing Aromatherapists, we are on PETA’s list of cruelty-free businesses, and we belong to the Handmade Soap and Cosmetics Guild. We continue to use the small-batch approach to ensure the freshness of all our products. Our creations have a shelf life of 6 months to 2 years, depending on the product – please ask us for specifics.
Kathy Lind grew up in Powell River for the most part and now lives in Golden BC.
