Before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2014, Mary Dolman lived for fourteen years in Dawson City, Yukon, just south of the Arctic Circle. Her love of nature and the rhythms of the northern climate have shaped her artistic vision. She established a reputation as a northern artist, with a painting in the Yukon Permanent Collection. On returning to her home province British Columbia to settle in Sechelt, she has found the ocean to be a tremendous source of inspiration.
