Explore the properties and texture of oil painting in this 4-week introductory workshop. This workshop will allow you to effectively ease into the medium of oil. You will learn how to prepare a canvas, explore colour theory and how to effectively put together a composition.
Carmelo Sortino is a self-taught artist who has developed a successful painting career since coming to North America in the 1970s. His larger than life paintings are often of fruit and landscapes. A long-time resident of the Sunshine Coast, Carmelo has taught many hands-on workshops here and elsewhere. His works hang all over the world in many private and corporate collections as well as museums.
