2021 Young Artists Awards and Exhibition
The Sunshine Coast Arts Council supports young artists in our community. We are proud to continue the annual Young Artists Awards and Exhibition, which was initiated in 1988. The exhibition features work by artists aged 5 – 18 across the Coast in a wide array of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, video and digital art and more.
The Young Artists Awards and Exhibition is mentored by a panel of working artists who feel passionate about encouraging creativity in young people. Over the years, we have seen participants in these exhibitions go on to higher education and careers in the arts. We give thanks to our generous sponsors: the Rotary Club of Sechelt, Opus Art Supplies, and the Gibsons School of the Arts, for their ongoing support of the Young Artists Awards and Exhibition.
