Escapees From the Net – As an artist who works with found and recycled materials I utilize simple fabrication techniques and processes to transform common manufactured goods into up-cycled products or forms that offer alternative meanings.

Similarly, I use common fasteners including screws, glue, rivets, twine and plastic ties to make my assemblages. My tool chest includes a pair of tin snips, jig saw, hammer, paint and brushes; along with an infusion of imagination and creative sweat. Many of my assemblages reference the human or animal form. Overall, I want my art works to introduce an element of fun, colour or curiosity for the viewer.
