This two-day workshop for teens will introduce you to the principles of sculpture and assemblage, including considerations of space, shape, composition and intent. You will work with natural and found materials to explore ways of creating a sculptural work that is made up of materials from around us. We will discuss questions of reuse and sustainability in art, and examine ways to be responsible with the materials we use. Supervised use of power-tools involved.
