Meghan will explain the differences between various social media platforms and how to choose the right ones for your promotional purposes. Meghan will talk about the various Social Media platforms, how to determine your target audience and create a base of followers, how to set up a social media calendar, as well as the value of visuals and how to “go viral”.
Meghan is in her final year of Geography and Professional Communications at UVic. In the past two years of her degree, she has focused heavily on Social Media and Digital Communications, studying and putting into practice how to manage and market an online presence. She was the Social Media and Administrative Assistant at the SCAC this past summer, and is excited to return and share how to successfully market yourself as an artist through the world of Social Media.
