In this sound Presentation/Workshop, Giorgio Magnanensi will showcase the potential of using resonating objects and various materials to craft audio resonators. These resonators find their applications in playful sound explorations, performances, and multichannel audio diffusion. Giorgio will further provide demonstrations of his personally crafted wooden resonators, which are created using reclaimed driftwood and discarded slabs sourced from mill operations on the Sunshine Coast. Participants will have the chance to experience the distinctive qualities of these resonators firsthand, as they diffuse sound energy in all directions, creating an immersive and tangible sonic experience.
